CAHT Survivor Services
Survivor Services serves Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties. Our role is to assist in the transition period while taking the first step from being a victim and working toward becoming an independent and contributing member of society
We provide rescue backpacks to law enforcement, Tampa Bay Human Trafficking Taskforce, Safe House Facilities, and other organizations that assist victims of Human Trafficking.
Most often, victims do not have any possessions when they are initially rescued, including appropriate shoes and attire. The backpacks we provide, in addition to basic toiletry items, supply these needs.

From 2019 – 2025 we distributed a total of 1191 backpacks.
We also visit Human Trafficking shelters and safe houses for survivors in the Tampa Bay area. While there, we may assist in preparing lunch or dinner, bake, provide a craft activity, play games, discuss life skills, or participate in devotions. Our volunteers are vetted with background checks to make contact with survivors in the safe houses.
Additionally, we partner with local churches to provide Christmas gifts and Easter Baskets.
If you would like to become more involved with Survivor Services, please look for contact information on our website.
