The courage and strength of the survivors as they navigate the difficult journey from trafficking victims to recovery and independence have imprinted on my heart. They say it’s more about the journey than the goal. These young people have to catch up with their development as a person, then recover from the trauma of their victimization, and then plan the next steps in their lifetime journey. I greatly admire their determination and bravery.
