For many years United Methodist Church has been a supporter of the Campaign Against Human Trafficking – Southshore (CAHT). Once again, we were chosen as the Mission of the Month for January 2025.
January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and CAHT is blessed to have UMC support and sponsor our mission to support victims, celebrate survivors, reduce demand, and end human trafficking.
Over recent years, advancements in technology have significantly supported law enforcement efforts, leading to increased arrests of perpetrators and the rescue of more victims. These developments have shone a brighter light on the reality of the issue, fostering greater community awareness and encouraging progress.
A heartfelt thanks goes out to UMC and all the remarkable individuals who generously donate their time and resources to this vital cause. Your dedication is truly making a difference.
